The "Saker Hunter" UAV is a multifunctional platform developed and manufactured in Ukraine. It is a mid-range reconnaissance and strike drone with a flight range of up to 200 km, capable of flying mission routes without GPS access. This is made possible by a domestically developed module — “Oscar”, which enables visual map-based navigation with absolute precision. Machine vision compares camera images with pre-loaded maps.
The UAV can also drop munitions with an accuracy of up to 25 meters or conduct kamikaze strikes. One of the key advantages of the system is its rapid deployment capability — the crew can deploy the UAV and its catapult launcher in just 10 minutes, complete the mission, and pack up within 7 minutes. The flight can be conducted in radio silence, entirely in autonomous mode, which effectively enables one operator to launch several UAVs from a single GCS simultaneously.

The Saker Scout UAV can be equipped with three interchangeable payload options mounted on the same attachment system — a drop kit, a communication repeater, or advanced reconnaissance cameras. The repeater has an operational range of 50 km, and the maximum payload for drops is 5.5 kg. Thanks to its 30x optical zoom camera, the UAV is capable of effective reconnaissance and target engagement. A thermal imaging camera enables night-time operations.
The UAV is equipped with a visual navigation system that allows operation without GPS, including the ability to maintain a fixed point visually, both day and night, even in windy conditions. 50-meter-long cables allow operators to control the UAV from cover. It supports multiple autonomous flight modes, including point lock, altitude hold, return-to-home, and automated landing without operator input.
Both repeater antennas feature an auto-stabilization mechanism and angle-hold function enabled by servo drives and custom-developed software. This compensates for UAV tilts during wind gusts, maintaining stable signal transmission. Additionally, the antennas can rotate 90 degrees to switch the polarization direction. Flying relay enables stable FPV missions in modern drone warfare. Custom-made Stezhka digital link provides high-quality reconnaissance video and keeps connection for distant bombing missions.

The Saker Hetman is a tactical strike UAV system of the mini quadcopter type. It is equipped with a digital camera and a digital anti-jamming video link. The drone integrates the Cyclop automatic targeting module, enabling it to engage enemy personnel and equipment even under electronic warfare (EW) conditions and beyond the radio horizon. Terminal guidance can track targets moving at speeds of up to 90 km.
The addition of a repeater module based on the Saker Scout platform extends the UAV's operational range and improves communication reliability in adverse weather conditions and over long distances.
